A Difficult Decision

Way back in August, during Puppy Class, it was mentioned that one of the volunteer opportunities was to raise "babies" who would go off to Puppy Raisers at about 5 to 6 months.

I have made the decision to do just that. Raise the babies. 8 weeks to about 6 months.

Hanny will be moving to Northern Virginia to live with a lady who goes to work each day. It's what Hanny needs. I can't offer her that. We get out each day, but the 2 or 3 hours is just not enough stimulation for Hanny any longer.

The plan this afternoon was for Hanny to go back with Jody early next week. A baby will come from NY in a few weeks. But as you know, this could change. I'll keep you updated.

Oh, it's snowing, but that's now considered normal weather here in the south!

I know you'll miss Hanny but I definitely understand why you made the decision! I'm excited to see your next pup!

I know that decision couldn't have been easy. You have worked so hard with Hanny. It makes sense to send her to someone who can take her out into the world all day.
I can't wait to see a picture of new pup :) You're giving these pups a great start!
