"Julia"
Julia is named for the 2nd George daughter. Aunt Julia has 4 children, was a WAC during WWII, owned a dress shop, and I always admired her bracelets.
You may purchase the pattern and yarn at www.eweknitkits.com. The pattern isn't listed on the website yet. Call the 800 number and ask. It's the new pattern knit in Blue Sky Alpaca Sport. 4 skeins. Size 5 needle. Or use any yarn and needle size you wish.
November....
October......
....was still hot and dry.
The Guild sponsored a Knit-Out and Crochet Day. The Fastest Knitter Contest
Knitters
Lots of Gift Bags
And I continued to knit Hats hats
and more hats
And then I went to the beach with a great group of women who were all knitters and we sat in chairs and knit.

January 18, 2006 - October 23, 2007
Elaine last cut my hair, on or about January 18, 2006.
Just after that, to many of my knitting friends were diagnosed with cancer. They were loosing their hair. I could grow more than enough.
After about a year, I looked into Locks of Love. A great organization, but you can't have grey hair. One day while watching The Today Show, Pantene announced their
Beautiful Lengths program. Wigs for women. And you can have a bit of grey hair.
So I continued to let my hair grow.
October 23rd, I walked into Salon One like this
And left like this
You can see the 10 inch ponytail on the counter.
Elaine spent a good 1/2 hour blow drying it straight. Thanks Elaine! It will not be that straight until I have it trimmed.
Lots of knitting stuff will be coming soon. I've worked my fingers to the bone and ended up with a bit of carpel tunnel/knitters wrist preparing for the Va Wesylan Artisian Show this weekend in Va Beach. Stop by if you can.
